Ukraine and India agree to restore trade to pre-war levels
On March 29, the foreign ministers of India and Ukraine announced that they had agreed to restore trade and cooperation to the level that existed before Russia's full-scale invasion

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba made the first visit of a Ukrainian high-ranking official to India since Russia's full-scale invasion.
The meeting took place on the eve of a possible international summit to promote the peace plan.
“In New Delhi, I had sincere and comprehensive talks with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar about Ukrainian-Indian bilateral relations, the situation in our regions, and global security,” Kuleba wrote on X.
He noted that special attention was paid to Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula and further steps towards its implementation.
“We also co-chaired the Ukrainian-Indian intergovernmental commission review meeting and agreed to restore the level of cooperation between our countries that existed prior to the full-scale war launched by Russia, as well as identify new promising projects to take our relations to the next level,” the diplomat explained.
At the same time, Jaishankar noted that India's main goal is to bring trade back to its previous level.
- On March 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which he thanked him for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, for humanitarian aid and for the active participation of Indian representatives in meetings at the advisory level.
