This was shared by Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi. He highlighted the strong performance of airborne units from the 46th Airmobile, 57th Motorized, 28th Mechanized, 35th Marine Brigades, and the 3rd Assault Brigade.
Syrskyi also praised the growing effectiveness and survivability of Ukraine’s unmanned systems, with Madyar's Birds Regiment being a leader in this area.
He added that the number of unmanned systems used by Ukraine on the battlefield continues to grow. While Russia has increased its use of fiber-optic controlled UAVs, which pose a threat to military equipment, Ukraine has responded by deploying its own fiber-optic FPV drones, boosting its ability to target and destroy Russian military assets and personnel.
- On Saturday, October 26, Ukrainian drones allegedly attacked an airfield in Lipetsk, Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry reported shooting down four UAVs over the region.
