Ukraine strikes with drones over 54,000 Russian targets in December

Syrskyi also praised the growing effectiveness and survivability of Ukraine’s unmanned systems, with Madyar's Birds Regiment being a leader in this area.

He added that the number of unmanned systems used by Ukraine on the battlefield continues to grow. While Russia has increased its use of fiber-optic controlled UAVs, which pose a threat to military equipment, Ukraine has responded by deploying its own fiber-optic FPV drones, boosting its ability to target and destroy Russian military assets and personnel.

• On Saturday, October 26, Ukrainian drones allegedly attacked an airfield in Lipetsk, Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry reported shooting down four UAVs over the region.
