Ukraine could renew Europe's outdated economic model
It is often said that the European economy relies on three pillars: cheap Chinese labor, cheap Russian energy, and free American security
In reality, the situation is worse: outdated ownership models, outdated production models, and outdated distribution models.
Europe desperately needs Ukraine to renew its model. This is a two-way street: Ukraine joins the EU, and the EU integrates into Ukraine.
However, for this to happen, investments must be made now in Ukraine's security — immediately, while Ukraine still holds what it can offer Europe (and it's not just Ukrainian immigrants, as such a flow won't alter outdated systems).
But the spoiled and socially corrupted (in terms of social policy) European voter is not ready. They will vote for the far-right and far-left, who promise a continuation of the good life, paid for with the blood, sweat, and tears of their forefathers.
