Elon Musk replied to a comment on X from a user who questioned his shift in stance on supporting Ukraine. The comment was left under a post Musk originally shared in March 2022

An X user commented on Musk’s post dated March 4, 2022, where he had called for support for Ukraine.
“What happened to him in the last 3 years?” the user asked.
In response, Musk explained his change in rhetoric by stating that “Russia went too far 3 years ago, now the Ukrainian government has gone too far.”
“Endless death in trenches is wrong, and anyone who continues to push that lacks both empathy and a brain,” the billionaire emphasized.
- Earlier, Elon Musk called his platform X’s algorithms “garbage” due to recommendations of posts featuring Nazi salutes.
