Zelenskyy made this statement in his evening video address on February 21.
“Today, the teams of Ukraine and the United States are working on a draft agreement between our governments. This is an agreement that can enhance our relations, and most importantly, the details should be structured in a way that ensures its effectiveness. I hope for a result – a fair result,” the president’s statement says.
Zelenskyy added that throughout the day, he held several negotiations with leaders of partner countries, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Croatia, Luxembourg, Slovenia, and Côte d’Ivoire. It was also reported that the President of Ukraine spoke with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
