Russia has already lost the war against Ukraine, and it is well aware of this

Chairman of the Council of Reservists of the Ukrainian Land Forces Ivan Tymochko expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.

"We have already won the war. Now the question is to consolidate the results. Three years ago, Putin was demanding the whole of Ukraine, and at the same time he was planning to seize the Baltic States and Poland. Now, with significant resources and the support of China, Iran and North Korea, he claims only four regions that he has not been able to fully occupy," he said.

Putin is now demanding Ukraine's surrender because he has failed to achieve this both militarily and politically, and even despite the influence of agents and bribes of European officials and politicians, Tymochko said.

"In the past, Putin, dizzy with success, ordered the Russian Duma to include Ukrainian lands in the Russian constitution as subjects of the Federation. You can include anything, but it does not change the real state of affairs," he added.

Taking into account the Russian goals, we have essentially won the war. Now it is important to avoid internal conflicts and quarrels, because in the past the enemy often took advantage of this. Consolidation of Ukrainians is extremely important now, the military says.

"The information noise in the international arena is just an attempt by some politicians to shape their image or become stronger in their positions. There is a very large gap between desire and reality that needs to be filled with hard work and consolidation with all partners and allies. We are observing the situation and preparing to celebrate a stable victory, although it still takes time," Tymochko summarized.

  • Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and now Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Valeriy Zaluzhnyi believes that Ukraine can win the war against Russia due to a number of technological and political advantages.
