Russian strikes on Donetsk region kill 5 people, destroy over 50 houses

Mykola Dovbnia, deputy of the Druzhkivka City Council, stated this on Espreso TV.

“The use of guided aerial bombs by Russia has significantly increased in the Donetsk region. Kostiantynivka is suffering the most from these attacks. For three days, the city has been subjected to intense shelling with guided bombs. As a result of Russian attacks, five people have been killed, and more than 50 houses have been destroyed,” he stated.

On Friday, February 21, Sloviansk also came under fire. One person was killed in the Russian attack, and over 40 houses were destroyed. On the same day, the invaders shelled Kramatorsk.

“I was present, I felt the explosions, and how the air trembled. It’s a very tragic situation, obviously linked to the approaching third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine,” Dovbnia added.

• Since the morning of Friday, February 21, the Russian army has attacked several settlements in the Donetsk region. As a result of the strikes, two people have been killed, and there are wounded.
