This is reported by Suspilne and Militarnyi.

Pars CEO Akym Klemenov noted that the missile is a budget-friendly solution since its construction utilizes simple technologies, such as aluminum cutting and bending, reminiscent of aircraft designs from World War II.

“This significantly reduces the cost of the product. The missile is built around a pulsed air-jet engine, made of stainless steel and having no moving parts. It is cheap and simple. Yes, it has certain drawbacks, but its advantages make it worthwhile,” he stated.

The base version of the missile costs around $4,000–4,500, but with a warhead and upgraded avionics, the price may rise to $10,000–15,000.

The missile is currently in the final testing stage. Some of its technical documentation has already been submitted to the Ministry of Defense for codification, and final tests are expected to confirm the actual parameters of the product, which will be included in official documentation.

Specifications of the base Trembita cruise missile:

  • Loaded weight – 100 kg
  • Warhead weight – 20 kg (thermobaric or high-explosive fragmentation)
  • Strike range – over 140 km
  • Speed – over 400 km/h
  • Flight altitude – maximum 2,000 meters, minimum 30 meters
  • Fuel – runs on A-92 and A-95 gasoline

A decoy version of the missile will carry an additional fuel tank in place of the warhead, increasing its flight range to 200 km.

To launch Trembita, developers have created a special semi-trailer capable of carrying up to seven missiles of various modifications.

  • In April 2023, it was reported that Ukrainian volunteers had begun developing the Trembita combat missile.
