"...And then I basically don’t care"
Our only chance of survival is to crush the enemy, since the Russian economy is collapsing and the regime is teetering on the edge of internal conflict
"As long as the hot phase of the war is over, I basically don’t care," the first lady said when asked if she’d support her husband, the president, for a second term.
But what about justice? What about the need to defeat the enemy? Thousands of families are left without fathers, sons, husbands, wives, or mothers... Thousands are seriously injured, left to live with permanent health issues...
"The hot phase is over" — does this mean the war will truly end? Does it mean Russia will give up its geopolitical ambitions and abandon its plans to conquer or destroy Ukraine as a state and a nation?
Since the invasion began, the government has made promises:
- In 2014, they said the war would end in two weeks (then apologized).
- In 2019, they claimed peace was possible if we looked the enemy in the eye and stopped shooting back.
- And in 2022, they outright lied, assuring us there would be no full-scale war.
And now? The focus is just that "the hot phase is over"...
Have we still not grasped the nature of Russian imperialism — Ruscism? Our only chance to survive is to crush the enemy. Their economy is cracking, and internal conflicts are brewing.
For the sake of our future, we must acknowledge this aggression as genocide against the Ukrainian people. Together, as one national team, we must seek not only condemnation but also punishment for the Russian Federation.
