United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated this on January 6 in Seoul, CNN reports.
“The DPRK is already receiving Russian military equipment and training. Now, we have reason to believe that Moscow intends to share advanced space and satellite technology with Pyongyang,” Blinken said.
CNN notes that Blinken's comments came after North Korea test-fired an intermediate-range ballistic missile into the waters off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula.
“The U.S.’s top diplomat also reiterated an earlier warning that Russian President Vladimir Putin may be close to accepting North Korea’s nuclear weapons program,” CNN adds.
- The Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise (KSIFE) examined fragments of several North Korean KN-23 missiles used by Russia in strikes against Ukraine.
