Witkoff echoes Kremlin narratives in controversial remarks on Ukraine’s sovereignty
The news was reported on January 5 by Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Anatolii Shtefan, who tracks losses in the Russian army.
According to Shtefan, Živković died while commanding an assault company of the Russian 150th Regiment.
Bratislav Živković joined Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in early 2014, leading a group of “Serbian volunteers” in Sevastopol.
In 2017, the Romanian Intelligence Service caught him photographing military radars in Constanța. He was expelled from Romania, suspected of espionage, and banned from entering NATO countries for 15 years. After that, he went to Bulgaria and then to Russia.
In 2022, during Russia’s full-scale invasion, Živković was seriously injured. In the fall of 2024, he was seen in the Kursk region.
