UN Security Council must be completely rebooted to exclude Russia from it - Ukraine's Foreign Minister
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes it is necessary to reboot the UN Security Council to expel Russia from it, although this is not a quick process
He said this during a telethon.
"I always tell the truth as it is. This is not a quick process, because we need to completely reboot the UN Security Council in order to exclude Russia from it. But it will happen. The main thing is to be persistent and do what we are doing. And we will use this month of Russia's presidency of the UN Security Council to the fullest extent possible to bring this goal closer," the Foreign Minister emphasized.
The issue of Russia's expulsion has been relevant for years, but it was Ukraine that became the first country to officially put the issue of the illegitimacy of Russia's presence in the UN Security Council on the international agenda in December last year, the diplomat added.
