Ukraine's army destroys Russian 2C4 Tulip mortar in Bakhmut sector using Himars - Terra unit commander Volokhov
Mykola Volokhov, commander of the Terra aerial reconnaissance unit, says that the Defense Forces destroyed a rare Russian 2C4 Tulip mortar in the Bakhmut sector using Himars
He said this on Espreso TV.
"I would like to report good news from our sector. We managed to destroy a Russian 2C4 Tulip heavy mortar. This is a rather rare piece of equipment and the Russians do not have many of these systems. In particular, we managed to destroy this mortar with the help of an aerial reconnaissance unit of the 3rd Assault Brigade. We watched it for a long time and tried to catch it. This mortar was hit with the help of Himars MLRS," said Volokhov.
The commander of the Terra aerial reconnaissance unit added that the Defense Forces continue to advance in the Bakhmut sector.
"If we talk about the situation in general, our success in the southern part of the Bakhmut sector continues. There is progress. It is too early to talk about the final result. However, the daily work of our units is bringing this outcome closer," he added.
