Ukrainian forces launch 15 attacks on Russian personnel positions, 28 combat clashes take place in one day, General Staff reports

This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russian army is focusing its main efforts in several directions, including Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka. In the past day, there were 28 combat clashes in those areas.

In contrast, the Air Force of the Defense Forces conducted 15 strikes in the past 24 hours, targeting enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment. One of the strikes targeted the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complex.

During the day, missile troops and artillery units targeted enemy concentrations, including 20 artillery positions, 2 anti-aircraft defense units, and 2 electronic warfare stations.

Russians launched 11 missile and 49 air strikes on Ukraine in one day

In a single day, the Russians launched 11 missile strikes and 49 airstrikes on Ukraine. They also launched 48 MLRS attacks at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian areas.

These attacks resulted in civilian injuries and damage to residential, commercial, and administrative buildings, as well as private vehicles. 

Situation in different regions of Ukraine 

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are making progress in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. They have reached their designated borders and are taking measures to counter enemy artillery fire.

• On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.
• On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops launched air strikes on 1 settlement in the Sumy region. They also launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of over 20 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
• In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops shelled 5 settlements across the Kharkiv region. One area suffered from air strikes and Russian offensive actions. Ukrainian forces hold the defense. 
• In the Lyman direction, Russian troops shelled over 5 settlements across the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Two areas were subjected to air strikes. 
• In the Bakhmut direction, Russians shelled over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled Russian attacks in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, and Ivanivske. Two areas were subjected to air strikes. 
• In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops shelled over 10 settlements with artillery, and one area suffered from air strikes. 
• In the Marinka direction, Russian troops shelled over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery. Ukrainian forces repelled all the attacks. 
• In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops shelled 6 settlements and launched air strikes near 4 settlements.  
• In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops launched air strikes near 3 settlements and shelled over 15 settlements across Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

• On July 15, there were 39 combat clashes along the front. During these clashes, Russia suffered significant losses, including 500 soldiers, 13 UAVs, and 5 tanks in Ukraine.
