Ukraine will be able to de-occupy Crimea in 5-7 months
The war will continue until the entire territory of Ukraine is liberated. Meanwhile, it will take the Ukrainian army about six months to get to Crimea
This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office, in an interview with Radio Liberty.
"We will definitely be in Crimea in a very short time, from a historical point of view it is very little - six months, or five, or seven months. Perhaps this is too optimistic, but it is an optimism that is mathematically verified," the official said.
According to Podolyak, Russia does not have sufficient resources to hold the situation.
"The logic of the war is absolutely obvious, and we can definitely talk about the realities of Crimea on the waterfront in Yalta. And we can definitely talk about the absolutely effective future of Crimea," he emphasized.
The official noted that there will be no war for Crimea as a separate element, but rather for the right to exist in a democratic world within the framework of international law.
"This is a war for the right to ensure that no one can come to your home and say: 'Look, I have a little more weapons, I have a little more cruise missiles, so give me what I want. Today, there is a war for the right to exist in the civilized world. And in this civilized world, there is no place for Russia in this form," Podolyak said.
