Ukraine is at start of Crimean operation – military expert Svitan
Roman Svitan, a military pilot-instructor, colonel with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in reserve, military expert, believes that early May will bring good news about the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"Most likely, we will get long-range missiles. Recently, several news agencies and politicians, including Biden, have been saying that we will receive missiles that are even better than ATACMS and can replace them. Let's say if it's a Storm Shadow missile, then ten of these missiles can destroy the Crimean bridge with a 100% guarantee. A week ago, Zelenskyy said that this week we will see a certain beginning and some moments related to the upcoming offensive, and most likely it is already starting," Svitan emphasized.
According to the military expert, early May will bring good news about the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
"The first missiles determine the routes of future actions, the work of enemy air defense, and the movement of air defense systems. We are at the beginning of the Crimean operation. A month before the start of the offensive, the destruction of the enemy's deep rear begins and counter-offensive actions start. Sevastopol and Feodosia are deep behind the enemy lines. In early May, we will hear good news about the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," noted Svitan.
