There are conditions for AFU to conduct effective combat operations - military expert Zgurets
Serhiy Zgurets, CEO of Defense Express military expert group, believes that spring can be decisive on the battlefield
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The presence of the Russian army reserves allows us to understand what actions the enemy will plan. According to Budanov (Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine - ed.), all of the Russian reserves are already on the territory of Ukraine. This means that 320,000 Russian troops have already joined the fighting. That is, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already liquidated the reserves that were formed in Russia to accumulate forces and develop offensives that continue along the entire front line," Zgurets said.
According to the expert, Russia is exhausted. If mobilization is announced in Russia, it will yield certain results only in three months.
"If we preserve our reserves, we will be able to launch counteroffensive actions in early spring, if the assistance from our partners is not delayed. In terms of time, we are on track to launch a powerful counteroffensive in the spring. The Russians are running out of steam with their offensives, they started three weeks ago, and these efforts are not having a qualitative result. Spring may indeed be decisive. Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are building up forces and there are conditions for effective combat operations on our part," emphasized Zgurets.

Ukraine will face decisive battles with the Russian army in mid-spring, and this will be a turning point in the war. Currently, the score is 1:1.
