Russia's State Duma calls for continuing destruction of Ukraine's energy infrastructure
Russian parliamentarian Andrey Lugovoy says it is necessary to continue strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure as winter approaches
He wrote on Telegram that he considers Surovikin's decision to carry out a ‘maneuver to strengthen the defense’ on the left bank of the Dnipro River absolutely adequate and correct.
“It is necessary to continue strikes on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine and Kyiv, instilling chaos and panic behind the enemy lines. And in this way, in the winter period, we will exhaust the criminal regime of Zelenskyy and the troops he left on the banks of the Dnipro River,” the Russian MP said.
Andrey Lugovoy also called for the destruction of all bridges across the Dnipro River so that Ukraine's Armed Forces could not receive reinforcements.
“We must fortify ourselves on the left bank. It is no coincidence that Ukraine has always been divided into the left bank and the right bank. I think that the next step is to launch massive powerful strikes to destroy all forms of crossing the Dnipro River. These are more than 25 bridges. The width of the river is 800 meters. After that, the entire grouping of Ukrainian troops will be cut off from communications for the delivery of munitions and other logistics,” the Russian parliamentarian wrote.
