He also stated that 80% of Kyiv has no electricity and water. Due to the shelling, the water supply has been suspended throughout Kyiv.
“Kyivvodokanal specialists are working to restore it as soon as possible. Please, just in case, stock up on water. Specialists are doing everything possible to return water to the houses of Kyiv residents,” Klitschko wrote.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that metro trains will run with 10-minute intervals, due to a difficult situation with the energy system. Trams will resume operation with increased intervals of up to 40 minutes. And the Kyiv funicular will not work at all for some time.
Earlier was reported that the subway operates in a limited mode, as a large number of people use it as a shelter. It is also known that the movement of the ring electric train has been temporarily suspended in Kyiv.
At the same time, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, said that there were several hits to critical infrastructure facilities.
According to preliminary data from the Prosecutor General's Office, five people died. Earlier, Kuleba said that Russian missiles hit high-rise buildings in Vyshgorod and the private sector in Chabany.
"There are more than 20 victims who are already receiving all the necessary assistance. Unfortunately, one person died," he said.
In addition, according to him, the Kyiv region is completely without electricity. There is also partial lack of heating and water supply. Kuleba also emphasized that Points of Invincibility are being deployed in the region, where there is heat, communication and alternative power.
