Zelenskyy to present victory plan to Verkhovna Rada on October 16 — official
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to present the victory plan to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine’s parliament) on Wednesday, October 16
This was announced by Serhii Leshchenko, an advisor the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
He stated that Zelenskyy will address the Verkhovna Rada on that day. According to Leshchenko, "there's only one reason for this event now - the public presentation of the victory plan."
What is known about Zelenskyy's victory plan?
At the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit in Croatia on October 9, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that the first point of the victory plan addresses the lack of geopolitical confidence in Europe. It also includes strengthening NATO to ensure that Russian leader Vladimir Putin loses influence.
In London, Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and shared details of the victory plan. He also spoke with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
On October 11, during visits to Germany, Italy, France, and the UK, Zelenskyy presented the victory plan to Ukraine's allies.
