The Lithuanian Defense Ministry of Defense reported the information.

They also noted that this year, Lithuania plans to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense, ammunition, and drone needs, as well as support its defense industry by financing weapons produced in Ukraine.

Additionally, the defense ministry stated that Lithuania would contribute to coalitions, including the mine action coalition, which the country leads together with Iceland.

“Military assistance will also be provided through international funds and collective initiatives, while the training of Ukrainian soldiers and the rehabilitation of wounded soldiers will continue,” the statement says.

In total, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Lithuania has provided Ukraine with military aid worth over €767 million.

  • Previously, the Commander-in-Chief of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, Raimundas Vaikšnoras, stated that he does not rule out sending troops to Ukraine for a peacekeeping mission.
