Zelenskyy unveils first points of victory plan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the first point of Ukraine's victory plan addresses the lack of geopolitical confidence in Europe. It also includes strengthening NATO to ensure that Russian leader Vladimir Putin loses influence
Zelenskyy made these comments at the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit in Croatia.
He explained, “The first point of the plan addresses the lack of geopolitical confidence in Europe, particularly through NATO's strengthening, which will lead to Putin's geopolitical losses.”
He also noted that Ukraine’s invitation to join NATO is part of this plan.
“Yes, this is included in the victory plan. It's meant to strengthen Ukraine. We want to get the first step - an invitation.”
Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine’s NATO membership is a crucial step toward peace. “Peace is impossible without geopolitical certainty. I thank all those who are really determined today,” he said.
He added that the victory plan has already been shared with the United States and will soon be presented to all of Kyiv's partners to achieve its objectives.
