Russian forces fine residents of occupied Luhansk region for 'abortion propaganda'
Invading Russian forces threaten residents of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region with fines for spreading information about abortion
Artem Lysohor, the head of the Luhansk region, said this.
On December 3, a law came into force in the Russian Federation, according to which residents will be fined from 50,000 to 5 million rubles for information about refusing to have children, namely for 'abortion propaganda.'
In the event of a violation, citizens will face a fine of 50,000 to 400,000 rubles, officials - from 100,000 to 800,000 rubles, and legal entities - from 800,000 to 5 million rubles.
According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the ban applies to information posted on the Internet, mass media, cinema, and advertising.
"That is, every social media user whose post does not please the authorities will be held liable. In this way, the Russians hope to bring their own demographic processes out of the crisis," Lysohor said.
- The Russians are drafting a bill that would allow them to grant land plots in the occupied Luhansk region to military personnel from remote regions of Russia.
