110 combat clashes occur on Russian-Ukrainian front: heaviest fighting in Kursk region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 4:00 p.m.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian occupiers' advance. Russian forces continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages with missile, air, and artillery strikes," the General Staff noted.

At this time, the number of combat clashes has increased to 110.

The General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian defenders are taking measures to prevent Russian troops from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.

Today, as a result of Russian artillery, mortar, and multiple-launch rocket system fire, communities in the settlements of Leonivka and Hai in the Chernihiv region, as well as Porozok and Bachivsk in the Sumy region, were affected.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces launched one attack on Ukrainian positions near Kozacha Lopan, fighting is ongoing.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian occupiers attacked the Ukrainian Defense Forces once near Petropavlivka but were repelled.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Zelenyi Hay, Hrekivka, Terny, and Ivanivka. Nine battles are still ongoing. Russians carried out airstrikes on Ivanivka and Yampilivka, and struck the settlement of Nadiya with unguided missiles. Ukrainian forces are holding the defense and inflicting losses on the Russian army.

In the Siversk sector, Russians unsuccessfully launched two attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka. Russian forces dropped five guided bombs on Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian aviation launched strikes with guided bombs on Markove, Kostyantynivka, and Chasiv Yar. Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks near Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops, actively using aviation, attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses four times near Toretsk and Druzhba. Airstrikes with guided bombs were carried out on Romanivka and Katerynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian invaders made 15 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders out of their positions near Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Dachenske, and Novovasylivka. The Defense Forces repelled seven attacks, eight engagements are still ongoing. Oleksandropil, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Udachne, and Zvirove were hit by Russian airstrikes.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russians launched nine attacks near Stari Terny, Kurakhove, and Dachne. Seven attacks were repelled.

In the Vremivka sector, 26 Russian attacks took place near Uspenivka, Yantarne, Novosilka, Blahodatne, Rozlyv, and Odradne. Russians were most active near Kostyantynopilske, where 14 engagements occurred. Three battles are still ongoing. Russian aviation dropped a guided bomb on Temyrivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian occupation forces launched six attacks on Defense Forces positions near Novoandriivka and Pyatykhatky. One clash is ongoing.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 19 Russian attacks, with a total of 32 attacks on Ukrainian positions today.

No significant changes in other sectors.
