Ukrainian defenders repel Russian subversive groups near Kherson

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
He noted that similar attempts were also made by Russian forces last week.
“Both times, the invaders were defeated. Thanks to the professionalism of the Ukrainian military, these attacks were repelled. The situation is now under control. However, we are certain this is not over. The goal of the Russian military leadership is still to retake Kherson,” Prokudin said.
According to the head of the military administration, the Russians tried to cross the Dnipro River by boat and establish a foothold on the right bank.
- Early on December 20, the Russian army launched a massive shelling of Kherson. Residential buildings were hit, resulting in casualties and injuries.
