As of 7:17 a.m., another injured person and one fatality were reported.

According to the head of the Military Administration, a 60-year-old man suffered fatal injuries. He was indoors at the time of the Russian attack.

Russian sabotage groups attempt to land near Antonivskyi Bridge

The Kherson Regional Military Administration spokesperson, Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, shared the information on Espreso TV.

“From early morning, the Russians launched several sabotage and reconnaissance groups across the river towards the city in boats, but Ukrainian defenders sunk them. It will be the same for all enemies who try to attack Kherson. They attempted to land near the Antonivskyi Bridge,” Tolokonnikov stated.

According to him, Russian forces tried to conduct a landing under artillery cover.

“The situation is under control. This is not the first time our defenders have destroyed Russians attempting to cross from the left bank,” the spokesperson added.

Addressing consequences of Russian shelling

At 08:26, Roman Mrochko reported that utility services, together with volunteers, are working on addressing the aftermath at five locations.

“I once again urge all residents to submit requests to the military administration or the district council in Kherson, and groups of volunteers and municipal workers from both the regional and city administrations will be directed to assist,” said the head of the Military Administration.
