Poland donates three Mi-8, Bell 412-HP helicopters to Ukraine

The State Agency for Strategic Reserves of Poland (RARS) and Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland Vasyl Bodnar reported this.

"Two Mi-8 helicopters and one Bell 412-HP were handed over to Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, where they will be used for training and exercises for future pilots studying at the university," RARS said in a statement.

Ambassador Bodnar informed that the helicopters are already in Ukraine and expressed gratitude to the Polish partners for their assistance.

• Poland has allocated 2.5 million zlotys (about $637,000) to Ukraine, which will be used, among other things, to strengthen security in areas of Ukraine contaminated by landmines.
