Ukraine approves Wolly remote-controlled combat module for use in army
Ukraine's Defense Ministry has codified and approved the remotely controlled combat module Wolly for use in the military
The Ministry of Defense reported the information.
They noted that Wolly is equipped with a 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm machine gun with an automatic ammunition feed system, a thermal imager, and a system for automatic detection, recognition, and tracking of targets.
The ministry also added that Wolly is easy to transport - the module is relatively lightweight and can be delivered to its installation site by a single serviceman. Additionally, the battery charge lasts for several days of operation.
"Domestic arms manufacturers have implemented technological solutions in the combat module based on requests from the military and the real combat experience of Ukrainian defenders. Several proposals regarding control methods and the automation of specific processes for its practical use were taken into account," said Deputy Defense Minister Dmytro Klymenkov.
