The occupying Russian army has lost 1,270 soldiers in one day of the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian forces destroyed a number of Russian vehicles, including 4 tanks

Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported the information.

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to January 30, 2025, are approximately:

  • personnel - about 835,940 (+1,270),
  • tanks - 9,890 (+4),
  • armored fighting vehicles - 20,614 (+17), 
  • artillery systems - 22,412 (+17),
  • MLRS - 1,264 (+0),
  • air defense systems - 1,050 (+0),
  • aircraft - 369 (+0),
  • helicopters - 331 (+0),
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 23,510 (+54),
  • cruise missiles - 3,054 (+0),
  • ships/boats - 28 (+0),
  • submarines - 1 (+0),
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 35,451 (+85),
  • special equipment - 3,725 (+4).

The data is being updated.

  • On January 26, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian forces are maintaining a buffer zone on Russian territory to protect Sumy and Kharkiv from a possible Russian offensive.
