Russia launches mass attack on Donetsk region, killing 1 and wounding 14, including children
On Thursday, January 30, the Russian army launched a heavy attack on the Donetsk region, killing one person and injuring several others, including children aged 7 and 8
As of 1:50 p.m., reports indicated that 13 people, including two children — an 8-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl — were injured in the Russian shelling of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
By 2:44 p.m., Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that at least three apartment buildings in central Kramatorsk had been damaged in the attack. Preliminary information suggests that Russian forces targeted the city using Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Additionally, one person was killed, and seven houses were damaged in Ivanopillia, another town in the Donetsk region, due to Russian attacks. In Kostiantynivka, three private houses were damaged, while six houses were affected in Bilokuzmynivka.
In Komar, Russian strikes damaged 25 private houses, seven of which were completely destroyed. Meanwhile, one person was wounded in Chasiv Yar.
“Anyone who still stays in the Donetsk region is exposing themselves to mortal danger. Take care of yourselves! Evacuate!” emphasized Filashkin.
