We need to write the history of Russia for Russians
In my opinion, Ukrainian historians should write a history of Russia in Ukrainian and Russian
With a special emphasis on the indigenous peoples of Russia, on their statehood in the past, on the occupation and annexation of their lands by Russia, on the discrimination and destruction of the languages of indigenous peoples, their culture, traditions, and religion, aiming to restore the distorted history of indigenous peoples by Moscow in the present Russian Federation.
Such work will not be done in the republics of the Russian Federation, because just for starting this work, local historians are immediately repressed. The countries of the conventional West today do not understand the importance of this area, fearing for the future of nuclear weapons in the event of Russian collapse. Just as they were afraid of the USSR's collapse.
“For Ukraine, such work is extremely important as it will elevate the national consciousness of oppressed indigenous peoples of Russia, catalyze the emergence and strengthening of national liberation movements in the Russian Federation's republics, and contribute to the dissolution of the Russian Federation as a subject of international law.”
The book, in my deep conviction, should also be in e-format (in any convenient format for reading and copying) freely accessible.
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine should approach the scholars of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine with a corresponding proposal, and the Cabinet of Ministers should finance this important work. Funding should not be spared.
