Russian troops capture 3 settlements in Donetsk region, 3 in Kursk

In the Donetsk region, the Russian army occupied Petropavlivka, Vozdvyzhenka and Solone, and in the Kursk region, the Russian troops seized the settlements of Novoivanovka, Leonidovo and Aleksandria.

In the Kharkiv region, the Russian troops advanced in Dvorichna and near Zakhidne, and in the Donetsk region — near Kurakhove and Yasenove.

• Since the beginning of the day on Thursday, January 9, 144 combat clashes have taken place along the Russian-Ukrainian front. Russian troops carried out 37 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction.
