According to recent reports, on August 7, Russian troops took control of Serhiivka and made advances near Pereizne, Vodyane, Novoselivka Persha, Tymofiivka, Lysychne, Hrodivka, Novozhelanne, Zhelanne, and Ivanivka.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled Russian forces in the village of New York, Donetsk region.
