Biden may meet with Zelenskyy at NATO summit in Washington, White House suggests
The US presidential administration suggests that a bilateral meeting between Biden and Zelenskyy may take place on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Washington

This was stated by a representative of the US presidential administration, European Pravda reports.
"Although the president (Biden - ed.) will have a fairly tight schedule, given his obligations as the host of the summit, we are working to organise several bilateral meetings and meetings with various world leaders on the sidelines of the summit, including President Zelensky," the White House spokesman said during a briefing.
According to him, on the sidelines of the summit, which will take place on 9-11 July in Washington. Biden "will host an event with President Zelenskyy and nearly two dozen of our allies and partners."
- On April 27, former NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller said that Ukraine's accession to the Alliance would be considered at the July summit in Washington.
- On June 19, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, during a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, said that the US expects more than twenty more countries to sign bilateral security agreements with Ukraine before the next NATO summit.
- On June 23, British Radio Liberty correspondent Oles Kovach said that the UK was initiating a series of talks with the US and Germany ahead of the NATO summit in Washington to persuade them to invite Ukraine to join the Alliance.
- On July 2, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Ukraine should expect new announcements on strengthening its air defence systems, probably before the NATO summit in Washington on July 9-11.
