Russian strikes on Dnipropetrovsk region cause injuries to railway workers
On the morning of January 21, the occupying Russian army attacked Ukraine's Dnipro city and the region. The attack damaged the railroad infrastructure and injured two employees
Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, was the first to report the attack.
"Explosions occurred in the regional center. A warehouse that was not in use was partially destroyed in the city," the statement said.
Meanwhile, Russian forces also attacked the Synelnykove district, injuring a man who is now in moderate condition at a hospital. The attack caused damage to a transport company and private homes in the area.
Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrainian railway company, later reported that the railway infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region was hit by Russian attacks. Two railroad workers were injured in the attack — one was hospitalized, and the other received medical treatment on-site.
The Russian strike also damaged buildings and rolling stock.
At around 9:00 a.m., Lysak said that 2 apartment buildings and 3 private houses were damaged in the morning missile attack in the Synelnykove district.
Meanwhile, in Dnipro, two businesses were damaged, and five cars were destroyed.
According to him, a 45-year-old victim in the Synelnykove district was diagnosed with a leg injury, a head injury and abrasions. He remains in the medical facility. Doctors assess the patient's condition as moderate.
Another 47-year-old man was treated on the spot for a bruised arm.
