Ukraine adapts to Russian drone upgrades with EW countermeasures
Vadym Mysnyk, spokesperson for Ukraine's Siversk operational-tactical group, revealed that Russia is upgrading its drones and altering launch routes from the Kursk and Bryansk regions
This update was shared by Vadym Mysnyk, spokesperson for the Siversk operational-tactical troop grouping, on national television.
“The enemy (Russia - ed.) is constantly improving their drones, modifying their technical features. However, we are also enhancing our electronic warfare systems,” Mysnyk said.
He highlighted that Russian troops are adjusting drone launch routes, particularly from the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
“Launch routes are being changed. Strategically, they are primarily initiated from the Kursk region, though launches from Bryansk have also been recorded. The enemy is modifying altitudes and routes,” the spokesperson explained.
Mysnyk emphasized that mobile fire units and other Ukrainian Defense Forces methods are maximizing damage to Russian UAVs.
- Previously, on January 16, the Kharkiv troop grouping reported continuous attempts by Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups to infiltrate the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are maintaining their positions.
