Air alert declared in Romania due to Russian attack on Ukraine, locals hear explosions
On the night of July 24, residents of the northern part of the border Tulcea county in Romania were informed of an air raid alert due to a Russian drone

At around 2:20 a.m., the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations issued an air alert.
“The alert was issued after the structures that perform the role of defense and surveillance of Romania's borders noticed several objects (drones) approaching the northern region of Tulcea County around 2:10 a.m.,” the statement said.
At the same time, the 112 emergency service received at least 10 reports of explosion sounds.
“Most of the calls were from the municipality of Tulcea, and they signaled that they had heard explosions, but there were also calls in which citizens requested information, and the operators of the control center of the Tulcea County Emergency Situations Inspectorate provided them with all the requested information to understand that what they heard was happening on the territory of Ukraine,” the Emergency Situations Inspectorate said.
At 3:46 a.m., the air raid was over.

On the night of July 24, the Russian army launched strike UAVs at Ukraine. Ukraine's air defense forces were operating in the Kyiv region. There were casualties in Kharkiv and Odesa regions as a result of the attack.
