Russia attacks Ukraine with Shahed UAVs, causing casualties in Kharkiv, Odesa regions

Air defense operating in the Kyiv region
At 4:13 a.m., the Kyiv Regional Military Administration informed that Russian UAVs were spotted moving in the region. The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces were working.
Attack on the Kharkiv region
According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, around 5 a.m. the Russian army struck the Malodanylivka community with a Shahed drone.
As a result, a fire broke out in a stable, injuring two civilian men. Medics provided them with assistance on the spot.
Attack consequences in the Odesa region
The Izmail District State Administration reports that Russia attacked the port infrastructure in Izmail with Shaheds at night.
A five-story residential building was also hit, causing partial destruction of windows, stairwells and the facade. No one was killed, but three people were injured.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, said that two of the victims were hospitalized in moderate condition, and another victim received medical care on the spot.
"The attack destroyed several buildings of the port infrastructure. Three trucks were damaged. A fire also broke out at the site, which was promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service," Kiper said.
- On the night of July 21, Russia attacked with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles, two Kh-59/69 guided missiles, and 39 Shaheds. Ukraine’s air defense destroyed 35 UAVs and Kh-59/69 missiles.
