351 Russian Shahed attack drones fly into Belarus since July
Starting from July 11, 2024, at least 356 drones of various types flew into Belarus. Of these, 351 are Russian 'kamikaze' drones of the Shahed type
This was reported by the monitoring group Belarusian Hajun.
It is noted that all information about Russian drones was compiled in an online map of military activity in Belarus.
The "drones" section contains the time, locations, directions, and details of the activities of each of the 351 Shahed and 5 reconnaissance drones with a breakdown by day. The analysts also added all known places of explosions/ shootdowns / falls of UAVs in Belarus for all time.
"Over the past 5 months, we have recorded 10 cases of shooting down or falling Shahed drones in Belarus and Latvia, as well as 1 case of destruction of a building due to a UAV crash," the monitoring group added.
They also noted that the number of drones entering Belarus continues to grow.
Analysts published data on the number of UAVs of all types:
July - 9 drones;
August - 12;
September - 30;
October - 49;
November - 151;
Already in December - 105 drones.
"In addition, during the observation period, 163 drones were lost in location - that is, there may be dozens of crashed drones lying around somewhere in Belarus right now," the monitoring group noted.
- On the night of December 2-3, at least 21 Russian Shahed UAVs flew into Belarus. In particular, 3 drones flew in from the territory of the Russian Federation.
