Ukrainian forces destroy Russian platoon in Donetsk region, capture soldier revealing valuable information
Ukraine's Special Operations Forces destroyed a Russian platoon in the Donetsk region and captured one soldier who shared valuable information about the Russian army
The Special Forces command reports the information on Facebook.
The command reported that operators of the 3rd Special Operations Forces Regiment destroyed about a platoon of Russian soldiers during an attack on an industrial complex in the Donetsk direction.
"Only one Russian soldier managed to survive — the operators forced him to surrender. He provided valuable information about the Russian manpower concentration areas and ammunition depots — these arsenals were destroyed the same day," the military reported.
In addition, when Russian infantry occupied the industrial complex, the command of one of the units of the 3rd Special Operations Forces Regiment sent subgroups there to carry out special operations.
"The drone operators worked first. Using drops and FPV strikes, the operators entered the complex in armored Humvees and cleared all the buildings," the command reported.
- On Tuesday, February 25, 98 combat clashes took place on the Russian-Ukrainian front. Ukrainian troops repelled 25 Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk sector and 16 in the Kursk region.
