Five missiles shot down over Ukraine on Feb. 25 were manufactured in 2025

"On the night of February 25, the enemy launched another missile and drone attack on Ukraine. Russian forces fired several cruise missiles and more than 200 Shahed drones at Ukraine. The Air Force reported that seven cruise missiles were launched from four Tu-95 bombers, six of which were shot down. By 3:00 PM, I had spoken with people currently examining the debris from these missiles. Interestingly, almost five Kh-101 missiles were shot down over the Zhytomyr region," the military expert noted.

According to him, the debris from five missiles fell on five villages in the Zhytomyr region. In particular, near the village of Skochishche, one missile struck private property—fortunately, without causing any damage.

"The debris from these five missiles shows that all of them were made in the first quarter of 2025, meaning in January and February. These are new missiles that are loaded directly from the production line onto bombers for offensive operations. This indicates that, despite the supposed accumulation of cruise missiles, the enemy is resorting to conveyor-belt use of such weapons," Serhiy Zgurets emphasized.

• On February 25, the occupying Russian army attacked Ukraine with cruise missiles and strike drones. Ukrainian air defense forces successfully destroyed 139 Russian aerial targets.
