
Trump confirms Zelenskyy's Washington visit, says critical minerals deal nearing completion

Donald Trump announced this on Fox News, reports European Pravda.
According to him, Zelenskyy plans to travel to Washington on February 28 to meet with him after officials finalize the terms of the agreement.
Trump says both leaders are "still in talks": "We have almost agreed on our deal regarding land [minerals] and various other things."
"Later, we will address the broader security issue for Ukraine. I don't think that will be a problem. Many people want to do this, and I have spoken to Russia about it. They don’t seem to have any issues with it. So I think they understand that they won’t take it back. And once we finalize this, they won’t take it back," the U.S. leader added.
Initially, Sky News reported that, according to information from the Ukrainian government, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington.
On Friday, February 28, Zelenskyy is scheduled to travel to the U.S. The date for the in-person meeting was proposed by the American side.
