Ukrainian paratroopers take control of Kotlyne in Pokrovsk direction

The Ukrainian Airborne Assault Forces Command reported the information.

According to Serhiy Okishev, spokesman for the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, the Russian forces moved the line of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and occupied the village of Kotlyne in January 2025.

After that, the Russian troops intended to reach the Pokrovsk-Dnipro highway, so they sent significant forces to capture it. This could have significantly worsened the logistics of the entire Pokrovsk direction.

“In order to avoid this, one of the battalions of the 25th separate airborne brigade was tasked with recapturing the settlement from the enemy and consolidating on new lines,” said the brigade's spokesman.
