According to Suspilne, residents of the region reported power outages after the explosions. At the same time, Olena Danylchenko, a spokeswoman for the Kirovohrad electricity distribution company, said that there was no information about emergency power outages and it was not yet known whether the blackouts were related to the explosions. According to her, the power could have been cut off for safety reasons and to avoid an emergency situation due to attacks.
On the morning of January 2, the Russian occupation army attacked Ukraine from strategic aviation. A series of explosions occurred in Kyiv and Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, people were killed and injured, and houses were destroyed. Ukraine's air defense forces destroyed 72 of the 99 Russian missiles, including 10 Kinzhal air defense missiles.
