Azerbaijani plane crash: no airline should fly to Russia

All circumstances surrounding the crash of the Azerbaijani passenger plane on the Baku-Grozny route indicate it was shot down by Russian air defenses, killing at least 38 people

Azerbaijani pilots miraculously managed to bring the damaged plane across the Caspian Sea to Kazakhstan. Thanks to their efforts, more than two dozen passengers survived a crash landing and an explosion at Aktau Airport.

The plane did not crash in Russia or sink in the sea, preventing the perpetrators from covering up another of their crimes. The surviving wreckage, testimonies of those who lived, and videos taken in the cabin while still airborne debunk Russia's claim of a “collision with a flock of birds.”

The sound of an external explosion heard by passengers, impact marks on the tail and other parts of the plane typical of air defense missile fragments, cabin depressurization with oxygen masks deploying, interior damage, and injuries to some passengers - all point to an air defense missile detonation near the aircraft, not a bird collision.

Evidently, while combating Ukrainian drones attacking Grozny, the Russians fired at anything in sight, downing a passenger plane and killing dozens of people.

The conclusion is simple and clear: no responsible country or airline should fly to Russia, and no person concerned for their safety should board a plane heading there.

Firstly, the skies over Russia are a war zone. Unlike Ukraine, which suspended civilian flights over its territory, Russia refuses to do so, as demonstrating its alleged control over the situation is a hundred times more important to the Kremlin than human lives.

Secondly, Russia’s inept air defenses shoot at anything they see. This is not the first time they have downed a passenger plane.

Thirdly, due to its aggression against Ukraine and the theft of Western aircraft, Russia’s aviation sector is under sanctions. Western companies have ceased providing technical support and maintenance, leading to constant breakdowns and crashes. Aviation disasters have become routine in Russia, even without the involvement of air defenses.

The list of reasons to avoid flying to Russia could go on.

Above all, no one should fly, travel, or visit Russia except aboard bombers, tanks, or armored personnel carriers. Russia is an empire of evil, bringing only death and destruction to the world. For normal people, there is no reason to go there - neither for safety reasons nor for basic decency.
