Russia may have hundreds of Kh-22 missiles – Ukraine’s Air Force spokesman
Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman of Air Force Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces, emphasized that Kh-22 missiles cannot be shot down with air defense equipment that Ukraine has in its arsenal
Speaking at a media briefing, Ihnat also noted that Russia's stockpile of these anti-ship missiles may amount to hundreds. Also, according to him, Ukraine used to have Kh-22 missiles, but some of them were transferred to the Russian Federation in the form of payment for gas debts, and some of them were disposed of.
However, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces assured that there will be punishment for Russian criminals.
"They are currently stationed at Shaykovka airfield in Russia. Commander and his family have already been made public. We must not succumb to such things. It is clear that these are scum and criminals. They will be punished, that is clear. I think that our special services have personnel lists, probably of the entire regiment," the spokesman said.
Ihnat also noted that now it is not a problem to find these lists and learn about everyone by name - from crew who carried out the order to the top who gave the order to fire at densely populated city with a Kh-22 missile, error of which can be up to 600 meters.
