Putin orders economic transition to martial law - Polish general
Russian leader Vladimir Putin, plans to start a new wave of recruits and put the economy on a martial law footing from October
General of Armor of the Armed Forces of Poland Waldemar Skzypchak said this on the air of the program "Studio Zahid with Antin Borkowski" on the Espreso TV channel.
In his opinion, Putin increased the size of the army in order to recruit new recruits from October.
"He is already taking recruits, but he has a serious administrative problem. The Russian administration was not ready for war, they are not ready, they have no supplies, people are avoiding the army and military service, evading, running away from it," Skshipchak said.
He added that Russia cannot solve this situation.
"Putin ordered the transition of the economy from peace to war. He plans to do it from October. But from October, since the economy is not ready for the transition to military, he does not militarize his factories, because they do not have people to work in four shifts, as he would have wanted. In this regard, the Russians have serious problems with recruits and with the industry that would produce or repair his equipment," the general noted.
Skzypchak believes that Putin hopes to survive the winter and may do so in the spring.
