NATO will increase Ukraine's military power, but won't enter war - military expert
The missiles that fell on Poland's territory will accelerate NATO's consolidation in support of Ukraine, but the Alliance itself will not enter the war
Military expert Petro Chernyk stated this in a comment to Gazeta.ua.
“The G20 was a very serious blow for Putin. He was given a clear understanding of his place and the civilizational gap between Russia and the world. The President of the Russian Federation showed that he accepted this challenge and is ready to fight to the last. However, in the last few months, the Russian forces have shown that they have a growing problem with missiles. They don't have the power to strike every day. Missiles are taken out of warehouses, and new ones must be manufactured,” Chernyk said.
The missiles that fell on Poland's territory are the first situation where NATO countries were directly affected, the expert explained.
“The bloc understood what it was dealing with and that all responsibility rests with the Russians. This means that even more modern anti-aircraft missile systems will be transferred to Ukraine and funding will be increased. This will accelerate the consolidation of NATO in order to increase the military strength of Ukraine, but the Alliance itself will not enter the war,” Chernyk said.
