He expressed this opinion Espreso TV live on air.

"After the blowing up of the service center where Russians issued fake driver's licenses and license plates last week, the building opposite this center was completely surrounded and mass filtering of Ukrainian citizens began. A large number of soldiers enter the apartments of the citizens and begin to conduct interrogations and searches. If they don't like someone, they immediately take this person to prison. Or, if the Russian military finds any Ukrainian symbols, they take a person to prison as well," Fedorov said.

The mayor of Melitopol emphasized that citizens of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied territories are in particular danger.

"If a Melitopol family has a Ukrainian flag in their home, then in the best case, people will be captured and interrogated for many hours. Therefore, all citizens of Ukraine need to understand and realize that our people are in special danger in the temporarily occupied territories," he added.

  • On August 9, there were explosions in the occupied Kyrylivka, Melitopol district. The partisans damaged the headquarters of Russians with the equipment.

  • In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, resistance forces damaged the headquarters of the political party United Russia. Ukrainian partisans also announced a “hunt” for all those involved in the pseudo-referendum.

  • On August 9, there were explosions in Crimea near the Russian air base in Novofedorivka. Russians declared a state of emergency on the peninsula and the evacuation of residents in the Saky district.
