Medvedev sets conditions for ending attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure, Ukraine’s presidential office calls it confession of terrorism
The deputy head of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, says that Russian military will stop hitting Ukraine's energy system if Kyiv recognizes the Kremlin's demands in the war
Medvedev wrote about this on Telegram.
He assumed that from the point of view of the Russian leadership, the import of electricity from Slovakia to Ukraine will not help to stabilize the energy system.
According to him, “Ukraine must recognize the legitimacy of Russia's demands within the framework of a special military operation and its results”, which are reflected in the Constitution of the Russian Federation, i.e. the annexation of territories, and then "everything will be fine with light ".
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the President's Office, responded on Twitter that Medvedev's statement demonstrates Russia's admission of terrorism at the state level.
“Fantastic! The Kremlin directly declared through Medvedev's mouth: we will destroy the Ukrainian energy system and terrorize millions of people until Ukraine agrees to surrender. In fact, an official confession of terrorism at the state level. What negotiations can we talk about here? With whom?”
